Reasons why i love Chinese New Year
1. pineapple tarts, prawn rolls, nian gao, pistachios and all sorts of delicious baked/fried/roasted snacks (especially the fried "gold nugget" things in the yu sheng!)
2. Cute Little cousins :)
3. New clothes : ))))
4. RED PACKETS!
5. its always a nice long break from everything
Chinese new year is ending soon, valentines is over and the impending (or not so impending) results looms before us. Its terrible really.
Hopefully i'll be able to tick more things off my mental To-Do list so life will be less of regrets and more of thinking back and knowing that i did what i could and didnt let myself down :)
On a side note, i love simple little DIY projects :) They make me happy. IF ONLY I HAD A SEWING MACHINE hint hint.
p.s. Did i mention that chinese new year is also terrible for my waistline? (if i even had a waist to begin with)
p.p.s i just ate some preserved scallop things and theyre SUPER YUMMY.
